Children in Need 2018....bigger and better !! Live from i360 tower Brighton

Children in Need 2018.....exceeded all expectations, resulting in Kerry, Megan, Summer & Ellie being invited to appear Live on BBC news & Children in Need on the night of 16th November from the i360 tower in Brighton. We had a fantastic evening, meeting Pudsey himself and telling people of the importance of raising funds for sick children and their families. Club 4 Kids Childcare raised a staggering amount of £2636.11 after final count and if this brings as many memories, smiles, excitement and joy to the Children in need as it did to us then every sleepless night was worth it.  This year Megan started preparing for an early launch with a fantastic Quiz night on 9th November 2018 (1st ever which was pretty scary), alone raising £577.  Staff, Parents and friends dressed in PJ`s for the night and so much fun was had with a few games thrown in for good measure.  `Los Ganadores` team were the winners and `In it for the Wooden Spoon` were the proud losers.....who would of guessed such appropriate names. Video footage of the Quiz was shown on the BBC lunchtime news spot on 16th November !!    Things just got better with local businesses supporting by donating prizes (list below) and we even had a star prize of a BUNGEE JUMP donated by www.experiencedays.co.uk    All in all there were 143 prizes                                                                              For the week of Children in Need 12 - 16 November .......Staff got busily baking, (often up till midnight) for our sell out cake sales, some parents donated prizes, Claire Sears (parent) spent hours emailing companies for prizes and Claire Boraston (parent) sold items to work colleagues / friends and also baked tasty treats for us to sell. We also had lucky dips, `Guess how many sweets in a jar`, personalised merchandise for sale as well as other actitivtes. Each year we get bigger and better but as we are such a small family run setting it is getting more challenging to raise so much. If you have any challenges you feel we can try or if you feel you can support us in any way, please `step forward` and let us know.
